How do I sign up for WebTure lecture, seminar or event?
To sign up for a WebTure lecture or event, please go to the list of fore coming lectures/events and push the bottom “register now”.
We have global registration process which only requires you to supply us with your information once. If you are a new user, please fill out the form fields in the "Register" area, leaving the "log in" section blank. If you have previously registered for WebTure event by entering your information in the "Register" section, you will not need to register again. Simply enter your email address and password in the "Login" section and click "Continue". For registered users who want to update their profile information, simply enter your email address and password and click on the "Edit Profile" button.

Do I need a web camera to use WebTure platform?
No. You can participate in webtures, webinars or events and view other participants' live video (if applicable) without having your own web camera. During selected webtures, webinars and events, only the video of the moderator and co-moderators is shared with participants. Each participant's video is considered 'off air' and cannot be viewed by others.

Do I need to install WebTure program?
No. WebTure is an Internet-based service, you will not need to install a software application on your computer to view online lectures and web seminars.

Why does hitting launch presentation not do anything?
If you have pop-up blocking software installed and it is active, it may be blocking the presentation console from opening. You many need to temporarily disable the pop-up blocking software in order to participate in the event.

I am not able to make the live event date. Is there a way to view it later?
All WebTure webinars and webtures are available for on-demand replay on our site approximately 24 hours after the live event date. All you have to do is register prior to viewing.

How much does it cost to attend WebTure webinar or webture?
Part of WebTure's events are free of charge to all attendees and part are for payment. Visit our Upcoming Events section, for a complete list of upcoming events and the fees involved.

Is there a phone number to dial in for audio?
All WebTure events uses streamed media to deliver content unless otherwise specified by event.

Why do I need to register? I only want to participate in single event.
WebTure maintains several discrete e-mail lists. All viewers must register with WebTure specifically. We have streamlined our registration page so that attendees only need to complete the registration information page once.

Why do I need to turn off my pop-up blocker?
WebTure's webinars are interactive internet events. Elements of the presentation will come to you, the viewer, as pop-up browser windows. These elements include polls, presentation boards, a survey, and answers to questions that you submit. By turning off your pop-up blocking software, you will enjoy a richer presentation.

How do I attend WebTure online event?
Upon successful registration, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the event URL and attendance information. On the date and time of the event, you will need to launch the event using your browser with the URL provided. Select the Media player that you wish to use from the event lobby page. Finally, click the "Launch Presentation" button to start the webture. You will not be allowed to access the event earlier than fifteen (15) minutes prior to the event start time. All "past events" may be viewed at any time after successful registration. If you experience any difficulties, please visit our Support Help site.

What do I need to run WebTure platform?
The primary requirements for using WebTureare a PC running Windows® 2000 or XP with 14 MB of free disk space and an Internet connection (ideally broadband). For more details, visit the Technical Requirements page.

- Digital whiteboards function just like the real thing, helping you communicate better with online web seminar participants by putting ideas into diagrams and sketches that everyone can see.
- The Meeting History feature captures a running slideshow of information used during the course of the webture or webinar, such as document annotations and whiteboards, letting participants easily review and refer back to earlier activities.
- Browser Sharing allows you to share a web site of interest with the entire group.
- Chat allows for real-time text messaging within the webture or webinar, with controls for exactly who can see and join the conversation.
